Okay, this has nothing to do with sports, but this song is stuck in my head:

I posted some Rose Bowl tickets for sale on StubHub.

I have two I’m selling for $83, but I think they will go fast. The two I have are in the end zone, I got better seats so I am trying to sell the ones I have, that’s why my price is lower. This might be JoePa’s last game, and Penn State versus USC? Are you kidding me? This is classic.

The Tennessee Titans are always in the hunt, and coach Jeff Fisher is considered one of the best coaches in the NFL today. They’ve had a stellar season, they are built for the tough playoff schedule, so can they finally get over the hump and get coach Fisher a Super Bowl win? A real story would emerge if the Titans were to reach the Super Bowl and face the Carolina Panthers, where quarterback Kerry Collins started his career and quickly fizzled, and he was thought to be a bust.

A great game between the Panthers and the Giants, even though the Panthers come up on the losing end after overtime. I think that the Panthers kind of lost steam in the cold as the game went on – which they shouldn’t, because it’s freaking 18 degrees in North Carolina right now, too – but there were a couple of big defensive stops that the Panthers didn’t come up with and that was the game.
Still, John Casey usually would have hit that 50 yard field goal, and I still like the Panthers chances in the playoffs.

It’s playoff time!
What a difference a year makes, huh? Last year a lot of people thought the Giants were ‘lucky’ to even make the playoffs, a lot of people thought Tom Coughlin might be on his way out and Eli Manning was having to listen to all the New York media talking about how he was bust.
Now, the Giants are the defending champs and the team with a big target on their back going into the playoffs. Nobody is really worried about Eli’s composure anymore, and he’s moved out of the shadow of his big brother Payton. The Giants are looking to get back into playoff form before the postseason, but they know how to win and once you’ve got that winning feeling, confidence follows. Will they be able to do it again?

Pittsburgh is one of the most stories franchises in the NFL, and probably the greatest dynasty ever built during their four Super Bowls of the 70’s. Can this team repeat the success that they had under Bill Cowher?
The thing about the Steelers is that they aren’t just about one player or a coach, they are about the entire organization, and that’s why they’ve returned to so much success after rebuilding years. They are a team where ‘rebuilding’ is an actual strategy, unlike most teams, where the term ‘rebuilding’ is just another word for ‘losing season’ – I’m looking at you, Kansas City.
Click here for North Carolina Tar Heels Wake Forest Tickets.
This year the Heels only play Wake Forest once on the basketball court, and it’s in Winston-Salem, NC. I think that Wake has a very good team full of possibly more NBA talent than they’ve ever had, but they are young and even with all of the talent, they aren’t as deep as UNC. However, they will be up for the game and ready to play, PLUS they are playing at home, so this is probably one of the games that Roy Williams knows could be trouble for the Tar Heels.
Probably the guy who could cause match up problems for the Tar Heels will be James Johnson, a guy who has been somewhat inconsistent in his college career but has loads of talent and can flat out scorch teams when his game is clicking. On his worst night, he’s not a factor, on his best night, he’s Tracy McGrady. I have no doubt that Johnson will get more consistent with each college game and he’ll be ready to play when UNC and Duke come to town.
Looks like Virginia Tech is going to be missing a left guard and middle linebacker for the Orange Bowl.
It’s a tough disciplinary action to suspend players from a bowl game, and I don’t know if that’s what happening here. It’s pretty heavy handed and I hope that if that is the case, it’s justified.
Click here for Daytona 500 Tickets.
The Daytona 500 is the Super Bowl of NASCAR, but unlike the Super Bowl, it happens at the beginning of the racing season instead of the end. You need to get your tickets and hotel early to make sure you get what you are looking for.

UCLA’s home game schedule includes this match up with Louisiana Tech of the Western Athletic Conference. Louisiana Tech’s leading scorer is Kyle Gibson, a 6′5″ guard from Los Angeles, so this game will be a homecoming for him.
